Summary:

Reporting directly to the US Accounting Manager (located in the Philadelphia office), the staff accountant will support the monthly financial close, reconciliation, and SAP data entry process. VBC US is filing in several key positions to support US activities in Poland and this position will be an important part in that transition.  The company recently underwent an SAP implementation, and this position will be heavily involved in the utilization of that system.  A hybrid work schedule is available. 

Zakres obowiązków
  1. Perform bank reconciliations to support cash transactions. 
  2. Reconcile Credit Cards activities and communicate items for resolution/support, as needed.
  3. Manage Fixed Assets, review of proper additions and month/year end reconciliations.
  4. Perform Journal Entries as needed, to properly reflect account balances.
  5. Other tasks as assigned.
  6. Support Month End and Year End General Ledger Close process, for assigned areas.
Poszukiwane kompetencje
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (or in combination with public accounting experience).
  • Working knowledge of IFRS/GAAP Accounting Principles preferred.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • High level of proficiency with Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Adaptability while working in a fast changing and evolving organization.
  • High level of accountability for areas assigned. Data analysis through final results, including detailed research and follow through on findings.
  • Strong organization/time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly effective communication skills and relationship building.
  • Highest level of accuracy and integrity
  • English proficiency at B2/C1 level, enabling work in English.
